My name is Kate. I am working and saving up to buy a used school bus to convert into a full-time home & studio for myself and my dog, Penny. I have worked as an art teacher, bartender & waiter, and dog-sitter (often all at the same time) and now I have a WFH job that finally allows time to make artwork on the side.
Rent is too expensive in nearly every city I could potentially move to and I have moved so many times, chasing my dreams and a living wage, so now I am attempting a new workaround. I'm a handy gal, so I'm going to build my own home that can go wherever I feel at HOME.
With this GoFundMe I am hoping to cover part of the cost of my Skoolie build and some living expenses (car note and insurance kind of things) during the project.
